Pelicans Tough Week Leads To Drop In Weekly Power Rankings

Throughout the season we'll be keeping an eye on not only the Pelicans but the Top 5 in the NBA on a weekly basis, you can check out the entire list here.

The New Orleans Pelicans had a bad week last week finishing winless at 0-3. They lost to two strong teams to begin the week in the Milwaukee Bucks and the Portland Trailblazers but finished up falling to one of the worst teams in the league record-wise in the Pheonix Suns.

With the 0-3 record, last week New Orleans fell in the Weekly Power Rankings from 22nd to 23rd and they're 30-42.

Milwaukee Bucks (52-18)-Down one from 1
Houston Rockets (44-26)-Up one from 4
Toronto Raptors (49-21)-Down one from 3
Denver Nuggets (46-22)-Steady at 5

This week New Orleans has three games, two on the road to begin the week and one at home to finish it up. They begin the week Monday at Dallas to face the Mavericks (28-41) and then head down to Orlando to take on the Magic (33-38) on Wednesday. The Pels wrap up the week on Sunday as they return home and do battle with the Houston Rockets.
