If you haven't been paying attention to what new President of Basketball Operations for the New Orleans Pelicans David Griffin has been doing with this team now would be a good time to tune in.

Some of you will say, "Well Zion Williamson is out for the rest of the summer league with a knee injury, why bother watching?" To that I say this:

Jaxson Hayes! The rookie out of the University of Texas with the high-flying dunk absolutely posterizes Chicago Bulls guard Mychal Mulder.

The night wasn't just about one dunk for Hayes either he played a heck of a ballgame overall. He got it done on offense by scoring a game-high 28 points and on defense with three blocks in a 109-72 victory.

Another bright spot for the Pels was another rookie Nickeil Alexander-Walker who poured in 23 points, eight assists, three steals, and two blocks.

There's much more to watch with this New Orleans team than just Zion Williamson so tune in on Wednesday at 6:30 as they take on the Cleveland Cavaliers.
