Paul Ralston, play-by-play announcer for the North Dakota Bison, has been suspended two games by the University for using the phrase "choke job" during a postgame interview with Bison head coach Brian Jones.

UND led Northern Arizona with less than a minute to play before the Lumberjacks rallied, forced overtime, and defeated the Bison.

The Grand Folks Herald reported the story, which has drawn plenty of national media attention. Whether or not Jones was upset by the comment is unknown, as he continued his postgame interview after Ralston's comments.

Ralston has declined to comment on the story, and will return to his play-by-play duties UND’s games at Portland State a week from tomorrow. However, he did host his weekly UND coaches radio show tonight.

What do you make of the story? Was the suspension deserving, or over the line?
