Free agent outfielder Nelson Cruz may be the best bat still available on the Major League Baseball free agent market.

The 33-year old Cruz has hit at least 20 home runs, and has driven in at least 70 runs for the last five seasons.

Last year with the Texas Rangers, Cruz hit a .266, while hitting 27 home runs, with 66 RBI's.

Over his nine MLB seasons, with all but eight of his career at-bats coming for the Rangers, Cruz has hit a .268, with 157 homers, and 489 RBI's.

On August 5, 2013, Cruz accepted a 50 game suspension from Major League Baseball for his involvement to buying performance enhancing drugs from a clinic based out of Miami.

MLB.com looks at the market for Cruz, and some possible destinations for the two-time All-Star and 2011 American League Championship Series Most Valuable Player.
