LSU Enters AP Top 25
The top seven teams in the Associated Press College Basketball poll stayed the same this week, with Baylor holding onto the #1 spot for the second straight week.
Gonzaga is #2, followed by Kansas, San Diego State, Florida State, Louisville and Dayton. Villanova is #8, Duke is ninth and Seton Hall is tenth.
LSU makes a reappearance in the poll this week. The Tigers (15-4, 6-0 SEC) are ranked 22nd after easing by Texas Saturday, the Tigers' eighth straight win. Close games have been the norm for the Tigers, who have won six games by four points or fewer. Three of their losses have been by two points each.
The Big Ten had more than double the number of ranked teams of any other conference with six. The Atlantic Coast, Big 12, Big East and Southeastern conferences each had three. The Pac-12 and American Athletic conferences each had two as the only other leagues with multiple ranked teams.
