LCA’s Errol Rogers Receives Offer From Colorado St.

The scholarship offers continue to pile up for one local prep football star.

Tulane has issued a scholarship offer to Errol Rogers, Jr., a receiver/defensive back with Lafayette Christian Academy.

Louisiana also has interest in Rogers, the son of for Ragin' Cajun women's basketball coach Errol Rogers, Sr.

Rogers has also reportedly received offers from such schools as Tulane, McNeese, Northwestern St., ULM, Louisiana Tech, Southern, and Nicholls.

The 5-foot-11, 185-pound Rogers will begin his senior season in the fall, and is scheduled to graduate next spring.

Rogers caught 25 passes last season for 546 yards and 9 touchdowns.
