College World Series Field is Set

The field is set for the annual NCAA Men's College World Series, beginning this Saturday at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha NE.

Texas ended Tennessee Tech's dream of a trip to Omaha, beating the Eagles 5-2.

Texas Tech also advanced by beating Duke 6-2

Arkansas scored early and often in pummeling South Carolina 14-4.

And, in the most exciting game of the day, a walk off home run in the 11th inning gave Florida a 3-2 win over Auburn.

The first round matchups are:

Washington vs.. Mississippi State  Saturday, 7:00 pm

(6) North Carolina vs.(3) Oregon State  Saturday, 2:00 pm

(1) Florida vs. (9) Texas Tech  Sunday, 6:00 pm
