Chris Davis Gets Heated In Orioles Dugout
Frustrations boiled over for a couple of members of the Baltimore Orioles organization on Wednesday night.
Chris Davis, the club's highest-paid player, got into a heated discussion with manager Brandon Hyde during a 14-2 loss to the New York Yankees.
The incident took place in the middle of the fifth inning, with the Orioles trailing 6-1, when Davis and Hyde had a brief exchange in the dugout.
Davis had to be restrained by hitting coach Don Long and veteran Mark Trumbo.
Davis, who is making $23 million this season, is hitting .182, while Baltimore is 38-76, 37 games behind the Yankees in the AL East.
