It was an impressive victory by the Bulls. Coach Tom Thibodeau exploited the weak bench of the Miami Heat. The Bulls also locked down on defense in the second half, dictating the pace of the game with their halfcourt offense and protecting the basketball. As a result, Miami could not muster many fast break points.

Bulls forward Taj Gibson had two highlight reel slam dunks, including one in the face of Dwyane Wade (pictured to the left) for an and one. Chicago fans were wailing from start to finish. The hometeam gave them plenty reasons to.

Game 2 in the Windy City is scheduled for Wednesday, with a 7:30 tip-off.
