Tiger Woods withdraws from Players’ Championship

Tiger Woods hasn't practiced or played in a tournament since the Masters, citing knee and achilles tendon problems. He said the injuries were minor.

They looked anything but minor today, and Woods withdrew from the tournament after one half of one round. Woods shot six-over-par 42 on the front nine.

Woods also withdrew last year at the Players Championship after returning to golf after a three month absence because of a neck problem.
