The Tennessee Titans have selected Ken Whisenhunt to be the team's next head coach.

Whisenhunt, who was the offensive coordinator for the San Diego Chargers in 2013, was previously the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals, from 2007-2012, where he compiled an overall record of 45-51, including an NFC Championship in 2008, and an appearance in Super Bowl XL.

The 51-year old Whisenhunt replaces former head coach Mike Munchak, who coach the Titans for three years.

Since moving to Tennessee from Houston in 1997, Whisenhunt becomes only the third coach for the team, joining Munchak (2011-2013) and Jeff Fisher (1994-2010).
