The Atlantic Coast Conference evidently doesn't want to rock the boat.
The Conference announced midway through 2011 that Pittsburgh and Syracuse would be leaving the Big East conference for the ACC. But Big East by-laws say a school must give 27 months notice before leaving, which raised the question as to exactly when the two schools would start competing in their new league.
Is the Atlantic Coast Conference soon going to be the next conference to expand to what is being call a "super conference"?
