Every year, NFL teams come to regret signing certain free agents to bad contracts.
This season, for instance, the New England Patriots signed receiver Chad Ochocinco, and the Redskins inked defensive end Stephen Bowen.
Those two deal haven't really worked out for those team, nor the players, thus far.
Who are the potential 2012 NFL free agents that teams should avoid?
The "Madden Curse" is alive and well with Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis. His on-field performance has slipped considerably (only 211 yards rushing), and he sat out a game for what he considered a football injury (Strep throat!? Seriously Peyton!?). In addition to the public bickering about his contract, Hillis made another awful PR move when he allegedly didn't show up to a scheduled charity event for kids on Halloween.
