Former quarterback Ryan Leaf, commonly known as the biggest bust in NFL history, was arrested last night in his hometown of Great Falls Montana. Leaf was booked with felony charges of burglary of a residence and criminal possession of dangerous drugs. He was also booked on a first-time charge of misdemeanor theft.

Leaf will make a scheduled court appearance Monday after being freed on $76,000 bond last night, this according to Cascade County Detention Center Officer Robert Rivera.

Leaf released a statement last night. It reads as follows:

"I've made some mistakes, and have no excuses. I am using the tools I've learned to move forward rather than backwards, and will be open to talking about the details in the days to come. I am confident that there will be further understanding when the facts are revealed, and feel very blessed for all of the support, especially from my friends and family."

Leaf's latest arrested continues his recent track record of trouble with the law. In 2009, Ryan was indicted on drug and burglary charges in Texas, pleading guilty to eight felonies. With the indictment, Leaf was put on 10 years of probation.

It is unclear at this time if Leaf's recent arrest will revoke his 10-year probation plea agreement.
