
Patrick Reed Holds off Spieth, Fowler to Win Masters

Patrick Reed held off a closing charge by Rickie Fowler and an near record round by Jordan Spieth to win the Masters Sunday afternoon in Augusta, GA.
Reed got a crucial birdie on 15 and shot par on the final three holes to claim the green jacket. He shot a one under par 71 in the final round
Fowler shot a 67 on Sunday and made birdie on six of his last eleven holes to finish one shot back.
Spieth, meanwhile, flirted with Masters history but ran into trouble after clipping a tree limb on his tee shot at 18 and missed his par putt. Spieth finished at -13 after shooting 64, one shy of the course record.
Rory McElroy, playing in the final group with Reed, shot two over par 74 to finish in a four way tie for fifth place.
