Garbine Muguruza isn't exactly a household name.

But now she's a Wimbledon champion.

The 23 year old Spaniard broke Venus Williams after the tenth game and didn't lose another game the rest of the match, closing out with nine straight to overwhelm the 37 year old American, 7-5, 6-0 Saturday.

The turning point came in the first set when, down 4-5, Muguruza fought off two set points to knot the first set at 5 each.  The comeback seemed to deflate Williams who wasn't able to win again.

Williams was playing in her ninth Wimbledon final and was trying to win her fifth title.

For Muguruza, it's her first Wimbledon title.  She lost to Serena Williams in the final two years ago.
