If there was any question as to whether Roger Federer is among the greatest of all time, the question was answered for the second time this year.

Federer dominated from start to finish in a straight sets win over Croatia's Marin Cilic, 6-3, 6-1, 6-4.  Federer, at 35, becomes the oldest men's Wimbledon singles champion in the Open era.

Federer stormed through the competition, not dropping a single set along the way.

It was easier than expected against Cilic, who was obviously injured and was examined by a doctor on more than one occasion.  The Croatian fought valiantly through the pain and had his most competitive set in the third.  But Federer would not be denied as he won his 19th major, extending his own record.
