
Kings Get By Hornets With Late Basket
The New Orleans Hornets turned the ball over with less than 10 seconds in regulation and the Sacramento Kings took advantage with a game-winning basket to get the victory 99-98.
Trevor Ariza (pictured left) had a nice 20 point performance, but it was his pass that was intercepted with 8.9 seconds left. As a result, the Hornets fall to 9-30 with the loss.
Jarrett Jack finished with a game-high 25 points, but the New Orleans point guard only dished out 4 assists and turned it over 5 times.
Chris Kaman was the best player in a Hornet uniform Wednesday night. Playing a game-high 46 minutes, Kaman led the team in assists with 8 and in rebounds with 11. He scored 18 points for his 6th double-double in the last 7 games.
New Orleans play their 3rd game of a 4 game road trip this Friday in Denver for matchup with the Nuggets. Tip-off from the Pepsi Center is set for 8:00.
