It was just a few weeks ago that the LSU Tigers baseball team capped off one of the most memorable College World Series with their seventh all-time national championship.

But, not only did the Tigers do it on the field, their fans did it off the diamond, in the form of Jell-O shots at local restaurant Rocco's Pizza & Cantina.

LSU fans (with the help of a couple of celebs) purchased and slushed back an amazing 68,888 Jell-O shots as part of the eatery's "Jell-O Shot Challenge."

In addition to the extreme bragging rights that Tiger Nation will hold for quite some time, the school is getting something cool -- a donation from Rocco's in the form of a big fat check in the amount of $68,888 to the LSU Student Food Pantry.

Rocco's is sending checks to each campus food bank of the participating College World Series teams. All total, that's $142,464 (one dollar for each shot).

As you can see in the tweet, Rocco's is also making a donation to the Food Bank for the Heartland in Omaha, where the restaurant is located.

Nicely done Rocco's. And good job LSU fans. (At least we think congrats are in order for that. 😉)
