There are a lot of great high school football playoff match-ups this Friday night across the Acadiana area, but none more anticipated than the big Carencro Golden Bears/Acadiana Wreckin' Rams rematch.

And to get everyone even more excited for the second-round playoff contest, the two mayors of each respective town have placed a friendly wager with each other.

Carencro Mayor Charlotte Stemmans Clavier and Scott Mayor Jan-Scott Richard have agreed that the loser of the playoff game will don an apron and showcase their culinary skills by cooking a meal for the winning team before the next playoff game.

Ohhh, that's a good one!

So you can bet that each Mayor will be pulling extra hard for their team to pull off a win in Scott on Friday evening.

Mayor Clavier has no doubt that her Carencro Golden Bears will be victorious:

I have full faith in our talented team, and I am excited to showcase their prowess on the field but also see Mayor Richard's culinary skills when he cooks a great meal for our Golden Bears!

And the response from Mayor Richard was short and to the point:

Our Rams are ready for round two with the Bears and I can't wait for our players to enjoy some of Mayor Clavier's famous cooking!
