LSU Coach Brian Kelly was not happy after USC defeated his team at its season opener in Las Vegas.

A couple of penalties cost the Tigers good field position, thus giving the Trojans of USC a short field to work with and ultimately score.

In addition to that, Coach Kelly was not pleased with his team's attitude on the sideline when the Tigers went up on USC in the second half. Kelly says once the Tigers went up, with a lot of time left in the game, they thought they won the game and let USC back in the game.

Whatever the case may be, Kellly and his staff have a lot to figure out as LSU has lost another season opener, which hasn't sat well with some LSU fans.

Yes, if you can believe it, some Tiger fans expressed their anger on social media and even called for Brian Kelly to be fired by LSU. Is the third-year coach already on the hot seat in Baton Rouge?

LSU hopes to rebound in its next game when they take on Nichols in Tiger Stadium on September 7th.

Here's Kelly after the game in Las Vegas. I should add here that I would not have wanted to be in the team's place on the flight back home to Louisiana.

It was probably a long flight home.
