Unclaimed $78 Million Texas Lottery Ticket Sold at This Brownsville Store
Someone just scored a whopping $78 million jackpot from the Texas Lottery, and as of this posting, they don’t know they’ve won it. Or maybe they do and are just taking their time claiming their prize, for some crazy reason.
If I were betting, my money would be on the winner having not checked their numbers yet. Because if I won $78 million, I couldn’t claim it fast enough. I would be on the road to Austin to claim my prize within about a minute of learning I had won it. Everything else would have to wait.

Where the Winning Ticket Was Sold
Anyway, if you happened to have bought a ticket for the November 15th drawing from Gordon’s Bait & Tackle, located at 7066 Padre Island Highway, in Brownsville, check your numbers. According to a press release, the jackpot-winning ticket matched all six of the numbers drawn (7-17-23-28-39-48). The numbers were selected by the player, not by Quick Pick.
The player took the cash value option, which means they will receive approximately $43.6 million before taxes. The player has 180 days to claim their prize, so let’s get the word out. I would hate to see someone miss out on life-changing generational wealth like that.
And hey, if you happen to be the person who scored the jackpot and you learned of it from this post, buy a brother a cold beer sometime. I sure would appreciate it.
