The widely popular Savannah Bananas baseball team ate lunch In Lake Charles yesterday. They stopped off in Lake Charles after coming from Houston where they just performed and had some games.

The Savannah Bananas were in Houston at Minute Maid Park performing for a packed house at the field where the Houston Astros play. They are scheduled to perform in Baton Rouge, Louisiana this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights so that is why they may have been traveling through Lake Charles on their way to Baton Rouge.

Don't know who the Savannah Bananas are? They are not your typical baseball team. They entertain the crowds with the fastest and most entertaining game of baseball. as their players do crazy things like the players performing choreographed dances, epic walk-ups to the plate, and other hijinks.

Here is the video from this past weekend when they were in Houston.

It seems like the team buses pulled into Lake Charles yesterday for a little lunch stopping at Chick-fil-A on Nelson Road which is owned locally by David and Kimberly Griffin..The team exited the bus for lunch and greeted fans and took pictures with the restaurant goers.
