Happy birthday to us!

All of us here at ESPN1420 are celebrating 21 years on the air today.

Without our amazing listeners, we never would've made it to the legal drinking age.

It's time for the party!

Join us at Sticks Billiards on Johnston Street, for the ESPN1420 21st birthday celebration.

The party begins at 2:00 with on-location afternoon programming from 2 to 6, and revs up as the day goes on.

Billy Ryckman and Charles Hanagriff kick-off programming with the LSU & You show from 2 to 3, followed by Bird's Eye View with Jay Walker and guests from 3-4, Jay and Scott Prather on The Sports Gap from 4 to 5, and the Great S.C.O.T.T. Show with Scott and Greg Larnerd from 5 to 6.

Louisiana Ragin' Cajun Director of Athletics, Dr. Bryan Maggard, will appear on afternoon programming as well.

Delicious complimentary birthday cake from Piece of Cake Bakery in Lafayette will be served, along with free homemade jambalaya.

Drink specials and awesome winnable birthday presents will be available to all in attendance.

Presents include, but not limited too, a blue tooth ice chest, tailgating ice chest, tailgating chairs, WWE tickets, a limited number of special ESPN1420 birthday t-shirts, gift cards to Mandez's Seafood Bar & Grill, the Jambalaya Shoppe and much more.

The Saints preseason game versus the Dolphins, along with college football, will be on all the big screens through Sticks tonight as we ring in year number 21 together.

All ESPN1420 personalities will be on hand. Entry is free, but you must be 21 years of age or older.

We’ll be hanging out long after we end our local shows. Let’s kick back some cold ones, eat some delicious food, talk football and enjoy a birthday party 21 years in the making.

See you today!
