End of the World? Youkilis is a Yankee

Many believed the world would end on 12-12-12.

It hasn't happened but here's some earth shattering news.

Kevin Youkilis is going to the New York Yankees.

Sources say the former Red Sox third baseman has agreed to a one-year, $12 million dollar contract.  The Red Sox traded the popular Youkilis to Chicago after he had a run in with former manager Bobby Valentine.

Youkilis is expected to play in place of Alex Rodriguez, who is expected to be out until at least mid-season.
