NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Terry Bradshaw appeared on The Paul Finebaum Showsharing his thoughts on the salary of Alabama head coach Nick Saban.

Saban, the highest paid football coach in the world, is scheduled to make $11.25 million this season.

Bradshaw called the salary "shameful", adding a personal jab at Saban.

"If he has the personality of Steve Spurrier, then I would like him," Bradshaw told Finebaum. "Spurrier, now you’re talking about a great coach. That’s a great coach, Steve Spurrier, not Saban. Saban hates people. The man doesn’t even like people."

So it's shameful because he doesn't like his personality?

I admit, Saban isn't the warmest of human beings, but Alabama doesn't care about his lack of charisma. They care about money.

According to a New York Times Article from 2016, the University of Alabama is the largest growing endowment in the country, with enrollment up 58% over the last decade. Alabama has added 64 buildings to their campus in the last 10 years and doubled the tuition due to the high demand.

What's the constant? Nick Saban, who took over the Tide's football program in 2007.

Aside from leading the Tide to 4 of last 7 national titles and winning at least 10 games in a season 9 years in a row, it's the value of advertising the University receives when the football team is all over media.

According to Ahiza Garcia of CNN, Alabama generated $103.9 million in the year 2016.

Would you spend $1 to make $10? Of course you would. So would Bradshaw, and he wouldn't be shameful for doing it.
