With March Madness upon us, you will all undoubtedly see NCAA tournament highlights of days past. Unfortunately, Duke's Laettner buzzer-beater versus Kentucky will be replayed a ton, as will as Butler's Gordon Hayward potential buzzer beater rimming out. What you won't see is highlights of tournament records.
For example, have you ever seen a compilation highlight of Mookie Blaylock's registering a record 23 steals in the '88 tournament for Oklahoma State? Or how about 1990 #11 seeded Loyola Marymount (led by Bo Kimble, pictured) scoring a record 149 points in a tournament game, thanks in large part to a tournament record 27 three-pointers?
What about what Lute Olson's 1997 National Champion Arizona Wildcats team accomplished when they.....let me stop. I don't want to give it all away.
