
Tiger Falters at U. S. Open
Tiger Woods started round three tied for the lead at the U. S. Open.
He'll start the final round in a tie for 14th place.
Woods shot a five-over par 75 Saturday to fall five shots behind Jim Furyk and Graeme McDowell at the Olympic Country Club in San Francisco.
David Toms, who was tied with Furyk and Woods entering the third round, shot a 76.
Fredrik Jacobson is two strokes back at one over par. Ernie Els and Lee Westwood had big days Saturday to join two other golfers at three strokes back.
