Texas St. Picks Jake Spavital As Next Coach

Texas St. has apparently decided on its next head football coach.

The 33-year old Spavital has served as OC at West Virginia for the last two season, after serving in the same role at Cal in 2016, as well as the offensive coordinator at Texas A&M from 2014-2015.

Spavital will replace Everett Withers, who compiled an overall record of 7-28 in three season at Texas St., including a 3-9 mark this past season.
