Just because the LSU Tiger baseball team isn't participating in a regional, doesn't mean that head coach Paul Mainieri isn't hard at work. Mainieri has been putting in many hard hours to slightly reconstruct and tweak his program for 2012.

After losing the first two games of a three game series in heartbreaking fashion, the Tigers of LSU beat the Tigers of Auburn in game 3 on Sunday by the score of 3-2.

In a battle of SEC Tigers, Auburn took game 2 over LSU by the score of 3-1. A ninth-inning two-run homer broke a tie, propelling Auburn to their second win in as many days.
