Les Miles coached the LSU Tigers to a perfect 13-0 record and a unanimous number 1 ranking in the AP, USA Today, and BCS. He was able to do this amid a preseason bar fight involving his starting quarterback, an NCAA probe, and mid-season one-game suspensions to some of his best players. It goes without saying, but Les Miles did one hell of a job coaching this year. He was recognized today as the AP National Coach of the year.

The Tigers only led by 3 entering the 4th quarter, put pulled away in the final period. The Tiger defense was dominant all night, holding an explosive Bulldog rushing attack to only 52 yards on the ground. The lone touchdown of the game came on a 19 yard TD pass (pictured left) from Jarrett Lee to Rueben Randle. Spencer Ware rushed for 107 yards in the winning effort.
