The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns wrapped up their final game of a home series against the Houston Baptist Huskies on Sunday, March 7, 2021. The Cajuns had chances to come back and win the battle late in the game, but were defeated by the Huskies 6-4.

With the state of Louisiana moving into Phase 3 of its COVID-19 recovery efforts, changes will be coming at Russo Park when it comes to attendance at UL Ragin' Cajuns baseball games. With a 15% capacity increase, the amount of fans that will be able to attend games will be right under 2,000.

The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns played the McNeese State Cowboys in Lake Charles on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. The final score of the game was 4-3, with McNeese State edging out the Cajuns in a game that could have gone either way right up to the end.

The University of Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns are off to an impressive (6-2) start to the 2021 season. With both pitching and hitting clicking for UL, a couple of standouts include Spencer Arrighetti, who has the sixth-most strikeouts in the Sun Belt, and Carson Roccaforte, who is tied for 4th place in hits throughout the NCAA.

Hayden Durke received his first win as a starting pitcher for the Cajuns this season, with a little help from Brandon Talley who recorded five strikeouts in the last two innings.
