Mark Cuban Leaves Huge Tip

Mark Cuban and his Dallas Mavericks reportedly had a blast at the NBA Finals after-party. If you happen to be part of the wait staff at Club Liv in Miami, you probably received the best tip of your life.

The New York Post reported that Cuban spent $110,000 in the four hours the after-party lasted. Here is more from the NY Post.

Cuban spent most of it on a $90,000 bottle of Armand de Brignac, a.k.a. Ace of Spades, Champagne for teammates Dirk Nowitzki, Jason Terry, Brian Cardinal and Shawn Marion. After partying with the trophy until 5 a.m. yesterday and taking in a performance by Lil Wayne, Cuban left a $20,000 tip for the wait staff.

Not bad. As someone who has waited tables, the Club Liv staff hit the jackpot. Sell one bottle of champagne and then take home a $20,000 tip! Wow! I would insert the cliche' line of "I'm in the wrong business," but I've waited tables before, and I was happy if I received a $20 tip. For the record, the Armand de Brignac bottle of champagne that Cuban purchased was 15 liters (about 20 regular size bottles).

The wait staff at Club Liv probably aren't Maverick fans. However, they might reconsider after Cuban's $20,0o0 tip.
