Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel threw a water bottle at a heckler at the AT&T Byron Nelson golf tournament in Irving, Texas. The heckler sought and was denied an autograph and photo opportunity with the former Texas A&M Heisman Trophy winner, according to multiple news outlets.

This picture (left) of Manziel speaking to Irving police spread throughout social media today, but an Irving public official told espn.com that no charges were filed, while the police department called the matter "pretty straight forward."

An 18 year old in a Texas A&M polo asked Manziel for an autograph and picture by a pool at the Four Seasons (adjacent to the  golf tournament), which Manziel reportedly politely denied.

The young man continued to badger Manziel for several hours, claiming he would never be as good as Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who also played college ball at Texas A&M.

Once the heckling reached a boiling point, Manziel threw a bottle of water in the direction of the fan, who reportedly responded, "GOOD THROW JOHNNY!"

At that point, a friend of Manziel's stepped between the two and pushed the heckling fan. Security then got involved.

No police report was filed, and a Cleveland Browns source told ESPN the whole situation was a non-story.

Earlier this offseason, Manziel entered a rehab facility, vowing to gain the trust of the Browns and their fanbase, while apologizing for past behavior.
