You’re Extremely Like to Spot Santa in this Texas City
Texas has had quite a history with Santa before; we know he robbed a bank once in the 20s. But after that incident, we've forgiven the big red guy & have welcomed him back into our good graces because of the happiness he brings to the little boys & girls. And it turns out, one city in Texas ranks amongst the most likely to spot him. One city in far West Texas...
What city are you likely to find Santa in Texas?
Thanks to some highly scientific research, the folks at Assurance have listed the top 15 US cities that have the highest chances for us to spot Santa Claus. They factored in cities with high elevation, diminished light pollution (meaning how clearly can you see the night sky), cities with a lower number of residents with vision difficulties, and cities with favorable weather conditions in the winter. They would then rank the cities & give them a score out of 100.
After crunching in the numbers, they were able to determine that the Texas city you're most likely to find Santa is... El Paso, Texas.
Yes El Paso ranked #8 on their list with a score of 70.6 (which is a passing grade!) in terms of spotting Santa. We also had a score of 45.3 (out of 50) in terms of having the clearest skies to see Santa in the night sky. Or just stopping by to say hello to us.
Interestingly we were the only city from Texas mentioned in this study. Albuquerque, New Mexico & Tuscon, Arizona had a higher score than us in the spotting Santa.
So with all this in mind, keep your eyes peeled as you look up at the night sky; you never know what you'll find...
And don't forget to leave out the milk & cookies for Santa too.
