South Louisiana Man Pleads for Community Assistance in Removing Stray Dogs Before Drastic Measures are Taken

A South Louisiana man is asking for the local community's help in removing four stray dogs from his property. His post on Facebook has generated people's attention many of which have voiced their opinions on the matter in the comments.

In effort to resolve this issue and come up with a solution to have the dogs safely removed from his property we reached out to hear his side of the story.

What was not explained in the original post is that he did try going through the proper channels. He contacted local shelters which are not accepting any more dogs due to being at max capacity. Additionally, he reached out to local law enforcement who were not able to provide him with a humane solution to the problem because he lives outside of city limits.

Many commenters were under the impression that he had made no attempt to have these dogs safely removed from his property however, after speaking with him his frustrations are understandable considering no one has been able to offer a viable solution.

The dogs have been abandoned or dumped and as a result of that they have been eating this family's trash to survive. This is no life for an animal, let alone four.

He took to Facebook in hopes that someone familiar with animal rescue or the means to save the dogs could do so. Another major concern from his wife is their children and personal pets safety.
