Shaking Out the Good Stuff – Erath High Bobcat Steven Felipe Scores Memorable Touchdown [Must Watch]

The Erath High Bobcats football team came into this past Friday night's game against the Vinton High Lions looking for their first win of the 2023 season. The team was 0-4 but had played most of their opponents close and tough.

By the time they came out of their homecoming match-up with Vinton, they not only got their first victory of the season but also a memory of a lifetime.

That cool moment came on the first play of the game when a special Bobcat rumbled into the endzone for his first career touchdown.

It was captured on video, so enjoy the beauty here before we tell you the back story:

As you can see in Rachel Romero's post, Steven Felipe has been a huge supporter of the football team since he's been in high school at Erath High. All the kids love him.

Rachel told us that her son is a senior and just loves Steven. She said, "They like to pick on each other."

What you saw in the video was the doing of a few of the senior football players. They went to head coach Eric Leblanc and asked if they could do this for Steven. Coach Leblanc was all on board and the magic happened this past Friday night.

And as you can see, all the students were ecstatic for Steven. By the look of his reaction, so was he!

Hats off to Coach Leblanc as well. From what we've gathered, he has made all the boys in the special needs program at Erath High honorary football players. (And has done so every year he's been there.)

Those kids are invited on the sidelines on Friday nights and even run through the banner at the beginning of the game if they so choose to.

We know the Bobcats would love to win every game the rest of the season, but if they don't win a single game more, they have absolutely already won the game of life.

Great job boys and coaches at Erath High School! This is what it's all about.
