New Orleans, Louisiana Police Officer Allegedly Forces Teen to Strip off Clothes

A New Orleans police officer was booked into jail this past weekend after allegations were leveled against him that he forced a boy to take off his clothes for "insurance and to check on him" following a traffic crash earlier in March according to nola.com.

According to the arrest affidavit, 28-year-old police officer Tyler Sirois is alleged to have gone to the boy's home to check on him following a traffic accident that happened March 4.

A relative there at the time that the whole situation was weird, but this man was an officer.

The 17-year-old boy took his shirt off after being told to take his clothes off, but that's not where the allegations stop.

Court documents show the boy was told to go inside so Sirois could check further, but the young man and the relative said that was not necessary. They then contend that in an "elevated" voice, Sirios kept requesting the boy take all his clothes off.

The boy said in court documents he did what Sirois said "out of fear". The teenager then took off all of his clothes but his boxer shorts. The allegations are then that Sirois pulled the front and back of the boxer shorts open, looking in. It's said the man viewed the teen's private parts.

Nola.com reports the teen said he "felt forced, uncomfortable and didn't know what was going to happen if I didn't do what he said."

Following the incident, relatives of the teenager say they saw Sirois parked in the boy's neighborhood.

Relatives say the boy's behavior changed, and he even got into a fight at school. A teacher reported what happened to the authorities.

Sirois was booked into jail on the following charges:

• Simple battery
• Malfeasance in office
• False imprisonment with a weapon
• unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling
