(Kenner, Louisiana) - Have you ever wanted to own your own mall? If so, there's a property for sale in Louisiana that may allow you to fulfill your dreams.

According to LoopNet, the Esplanade Mall in Kenner is on the market, and the building has ample space.

The listing states that the mall is 10,714 sq. ft., and the asking price for the mall property is $12.5 Million. So, if you've always wanted to have your own mall or office space, the property in Kenner is on the market.

Like many malls across the country, the Esplanade Mall in South Louisiana struggled to attract customers and retailers, so it hit the real estate market. WGNO reports that the mall property was originally going to be a transitional office space for Kenner City Hall.

When that didn't happen, the property was going to be turned into apartments and a shopping area, but that didn't happen either.

If you're interested in seeing photos of the mall and the property, click the link below for more information on the listing. Like other mall areas around the country, this may not be a bad place for an indoor attraction like pickleball.

I recently saw a report on television that investors across the country were scooping up mall properties and turning them into pickleball courts, which has become a huge attraction nationwide.  We'll wait and see what comes of the property in Kenner, but given its location and proximity to New Orleans, it may not be a bad idea to turn it into an indoor sports facility.

A few months ago, two guys snuck into the vacant property that makes up the Esplanade Mall in Kenner, and they gave us a look inside. What do you think?

LOOK: 5 Cajun Themed Emojis We Need On Our Phones in Louisiana

A couple of days ago, I wanted to use an emoji in a message that centered around the Cajun culture in Louisiana, and I was reminded that there is no emoji for what I was hoping to use.

After a few more searches for things we do or eat here, I learned that there are very few emojis in our smartphones that depict some of our favorites in South Louisiana.

Sure, we have all the emojis we need for sports, travel, weather, etc., but when it comes to activities and certain foods here in "Cajun Country," we are lacking many. Each year, Apple updates its list of emojis, so perhaps after this post, they may be inclined to add a few that represent Cajun Culture.

Here are a few emojis we need on our phones that represent our lifestyle in South Louisiana.
