Shreveport Police Arrest Two Men for Gun Crimes
The Shreveport Police Department has been working hard to get guns out of the hands of people who shouldn't have them.
Back in late August, SPD Officers arrested Bryce Davis after responding to a call saying he allegedly threatened someone with a gun. SPD caught up with Davis and detained him. While investigating the situation, they found out that Davis had multiple warrants out for his arrest. The warrants were for entering and remaining on property after being forbidden and was charged with aggravated assault with a firearm.
Earlier this week, Shreveport Police arrested Jackson Shoalmire after he was found with a gun. SPD found out that Shoalmire is a convicted felon and was wanted for a parole violation. He is now facing one count of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
From SPD:
"The Shreveport Police Department remains committed to taking firearm-related offenses extremely seriously and urges the public to report any suspicious activity."
