Twin Peaks is a sports bar and restaurant known for its cozy, lodge-style atmosphere that feels like a mountain cabin. The chain focuses on made-from-scratch food, with meals prepared fresh in the kitchen. It’s also famous for its 29-degree draft beer served in frozen mugs. Sports fans can watch games on wall-to-wall TVs, from football to UFC, while being served by the Twin Peaks Girls.

There are over 100 locations across the United States, with 2 located here in Louisiana and 33 in Texas. Right now, there are only two open locations in Louisiana (Lafayette & Baton Rouge). Still, more are planned, including the Lake Charles location rumored to be built at the old O'Charley's and Paradise Grill & Daiquiris building. There is still no estimated open date for that location.

What That Means

Earlier this month, rumors circulated that FAT Brands could file for bankruptcy. The company avoided filing in November after working with lenders to refinance some debt.

Twin Peaks has faced some recent closures, including shutting down its last location in California. No official reason was given for that closure. However, FAT Brands has said it plans to convert about half of its Smokey Bones locations into Twin Peaks restaurants as part of its long-term strategy.

For now, customers should expect Twin Peaks restaurants to remain open as the company works through the bankruptcy process.
