Lafayette isn't getting an In-N-Out Burger, but it's almost within reach.

Anyone who has had a positive experience with the California chain will be happy to know that the Houston area is officially getting an In-N-Out Burger. It will be located in a 350,000 square foot retail and restaurant development in Stafford called The Grid.

According to StreetLevel Investments, the former Texas Instruments campus in Stafford will feature the In-N-Out amongst other restaurants, stores, hotels, parks, and residential space.

There have been rumors swirling about a Houston-based In-N-Out for years seeing that there are locations in Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, and several other cities, but never anything in stone—until now.

It may be a few more years until we see an In-N-Out Burger in Lafayette or Louisiana for that matter, but for now, a quick 3 to 4-hour road trip will be necessary satisfy your animal-style hunger.

The first phase of The Grid project slated to be open by early 2019.
