I-10 Stopped EB & WB After Major Crash Near Scott Exit [VIDEO]

UPDATE: A second crash is being worked in the Duson area. Traffic backups now extend to Rayne according to someone sitting on the I-10 Eastbound lanes.

Traffic is backed several miles on I-10 from the scene of a massive 18-wheeler crash near the Scott exit. A KPEL listener reports that the big rig crossed the median and went into oncoming traffic. First responders, including AirMed, have been on the scene.

Traffic is being diverted onto Hwy 90. The backup extends as far west as Duson and as far east as the Louisiana Avenue exit.
