The 8th annual Jambalaya Cook Off sponsored by the Breaux Bridge Area Chamber of Commerce is Saturday, September 30. The fun will be held from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm at Park du Pont, on the banks of beautiful Bayou Teche. You can still register a team for $30, and at least 5 lbs of meat must be used in your entry.
Geno Delfose and French Rockin’ Boogie will perform from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, and wristbands will be sold for $10 for all you can eat samplings from the teams. Proceeds will benefit the businesses and programs in the Breaux Bridge area.
