Check out this crazy ending to a recent South Carolina class 4A high school state title game between Irmo and Lexington.

the two teams were in a scoreless tie, heading into the penalty-kick phase of the match-up after 110 minutes of regulation time, overtime, and sudden death overtime.

With the penalty kicks tied, 3-3, Irmo's Mattison Gossett was kicking with a chance to win the state title for his team. His shot forced Lexington goalkeeper Jacob Parton to dive to his right, initially stopping the ball's momentum. But just as Parton began to celebrate, the ball spun back over the goal line, giving Irmo their 16th state crown.
