Heading into the week, in all of Major League Baseball, only the Minnesota Twins had won fewer games than the Chicago Cubs. Part of the reason for the Cubs' failures has been their temperamental starting pitcher Carlos Zambrano. I feel for Cubs manager Mike Quade, who I believe is a good baseball man, but has a roster that's not set-up for success.

General Manager Jim Hendry has built a nice farm system, and may strengthen it even more, if the Cubs elect to become sellers over the next couple of months, which they should.
