There will be no Triple Crown winner again this year.

Today comes the surprising news that I'll Have Another, winner of the Kentucky Derby and Preakness, has been scratched from tomorrow's running of the Belmont Stakes because of a swollen left front tendon.

Dennis O'Neal, brother of trainer Doug O'Neill made the announcement, saying "it's just not worth it."

I'll have another was trying to become the first Triple Crown winner since Affirmed in 1978.  The last horse to attempt to win the Triple Crown was Big Brown.  I'll Have Another was a 4-5 favorite to win the race.

Dullahan, who was the second favorite in the field, will now be favored to win.
