Acadiana (4-0) and Barbe (4-0) write another chapter in their storied history tonight at Bill Dotson Stadium.

The Acadiana Wreckin' Rams (4-0) used their tried and true formula of a powerful running game and stingy defense to send a festive Homecoming crowd home happy last Friday night with a 56-7 victory over the New Iberia Yellow Jackets (1-3).

The Rams rushed for 442 yards, led by Ziggy Francis' 223 yards on 9 carries. Ziggy set the school record for yards per carry at 24.78, breaking the previous record held by Micah Eugene in 2010 vs Sulphur and Matt Richard in 2003 vs Sara Reed at 20.9 yards per carry.

Jaylen James also had a big night for the Rams, scoring 3 touchdowns on only 6 carries, averaging 22 yards per rush. For good measure, Jaylen picked up a backwards lateral and raced 20 yards for a touchdown.

Tonight, the high flying offense of the Barbe Buccaneers (4-0) comes to Bill Dotson Stadium, averaging 50 points a game. The Bucs are led by quarterback Luke Richard, who has 866 yards passing on the year with 13 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.

Richard's favorite target is Jaylon Smith (28 receptions, 427 yards, 5 TDs). Barbe also has a strong running game with backs Jaivan Samuel(58 carries, 416 yards, 2 TDs) and Dana Fontenot 43 carries, 337 yards, 4 TDs).

The Terrible Turk defense will be challenged to keep their streak of 4 games of not allowing an opponent to gain over 300 yards of total offense in tact.

All the exciting action can be heard on the am dial at ESPN1420 in the Acadiana area, on the web at espn1420.com and on the free smart phone app RadioPup. The pre-game begins at 6:02 and kickoff is at 7:00 p.m.
