Weekend Results From the Sun Belt

The second week of league play is completed in the Sun Belt Conference.  There are eight weeks remaining in the regular season before the conference tournament at M. L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park.

Here are the results from over the weekend.

TROY AT LOUISIANA:  Troy 6-2, Troy 8-5, Louisiana 4-3  Records:  Troy 3-3, Louisiana 2-4.

SOUTH ALABAMA AT GEORGIA STATE:  Georgia State 7-2, South Alabama 12-4.  Game three cancelled, weather.  Records:  Georgia State 1-4, South Alabama 3-2.

TEXAS STATE AT COASTAL CAROLINA:  Coastal Carolina 8-0, Coastal Carolina 11-3, Coastal Carolina 7-3.  Records:  Coastal Carolina 6-0, Texas State 3-3.

UTA at LITTLE ROCK--Little Rock 4-1, UTA 15-13, Little Rock 5-4.  Records:  UTA 4-2, Little Rock 4-2.

APPALACHIAN STATE AT GEORGIA SOUTHERN (Series moved to Statesboro because of snow in Boone, NC):  Georgia Southern 2-0, Georgia Southern 7-1, Georgia Southern 11-4.  Records:  Georgia Southern 5-1, Appalachian State 0-6.

ARKANSAS STATE AT ULM:  ULM 2-0, Arkansas State 31-7, ULM 4-0.  Records:  ULM 3-3, Arkansas State 1-5.
