BATON ROUGE (KPEL) - Former Southern University Wide Receiver Quaydarius Davis, 22, is being accused of domestic abuse and battery after a video of the alleged abuse was caught on a security camera.

Victim Shares Disturbing Video of Man Strangling Her Outside Apartment

The victim shared a video on her Instagram page under the username, jayunna.monae, according to WBRZ which showed a man strangling her from behind until she went un conscience outside of her apartment.

The altercation occurred after the victim expressed wanting to end the relationship.

She shared details of the domestic abuse caputured on video in the caption on her post, explaining, "DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IS NEVER OK . This man choked me until I passed out and peed on myself , he kicked my door down , punched me numerous times all because I didn’t wanna be with him anymore . QUAYDARIUS DAVIS @wakemup2 A SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY COLLEGE KID WHO IS ENTERING THE DRAFT THIS YEAR . He lied to me about his case with his babymother and said she lied about him hitting her and later admitted that he did hit her , and put her in the hospital."

Davis Faced Domestic Abuse Accusations Before The Incident

Last October, Davis broke team rules and was dismissed from the team according to WBRZ.

This isn't the first time that Davis has faced domestic violence accusations. In 2021, Kansas University terminated its offer after Davis was accused of domestic violence.

Quaydarius Davis, 22, was booked by the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office for first-degree burglary, domestic abuse, and battery by strangulation.

Davis' bail is set for $20,000.
